Due to the ongoing uncertainty COVID-19 has presented and the current Maryland Stay-at-Home directive, the University is postponing Commencement 2020 originally scheduled for May 17. The University is looking forward to celebrating this great accomplishment and is presently looking to confirm a date at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, likely to happen toward the end of summer 2020.
For those completing your degree this spring, upon successful completion of your courses and degree requirements you will still finish up on schedule and officially be a May, 2020 graduate as planned.

Commencement Fair on April 25, 2020- Now Cancelled due to COVID-19 Response
Due to the COVID-19 response, the April 25th Commencement Fair has now been cancelled. We are diligently working to provide additional resources and to develop a specific FAQ for related questions.
Graduation Application*
All eligible students should have applied for May Graduation 2020 by submitting your graduation application through WebAdvisor no later than October 15th.
Completed applications must be submitted to the Registrar's Office via WebAdvisor no later than the above published due date. If you are unsure about your graduation status and graduating this ucpoming May, you are advised to submit the application. Late applications will not be processed or accepted. Please contact the Registrar's Office with any questions regarding your eligibility to participate in the 2020 Commencement ceremony.
*Please note that there is a graduation fee of $160 that will need to be paid when submitting the application in WebAdvisor.
