Event Attire
- Commencement Liturgy: Cap and gown
- Commencement Ceremony: Cap, gown and hood (All graduating students will be hooded as part of the ceremony.)
Note: Stoles are not permissible per University policy except for Morrissy Honors. Honor cords are permitted.
Regalia Cap, Gown & Hood
To participate in the Commencement ceremony, the proper regalia is required, which consists of an NDMU cap, gown, tassel, and hood. Please allow three weeks for shipping and receipt of regalia. We will send you the tracking details as soon as the order is shipped to the email you provided on your order.

What does a “green” gown mean?
- A “green” gown is black in color, but is produced from 100% recycled materials.
Can I pay for my regalia when I pick it up at the Bookstore?
- No, payments must be made online at the time of purchase.
Can I return my rented Pharmacy regalia to the campus Bookstore?
- No, all rental regalia must be returned using the return shipping label provided.
