We engage the University’s network to infuse career education into academic and experiential learning to help you develop as a professional. This transformation begins the moment you arrive on campus and never stops. Continuous re-invention is the new reality and we’re here to help both students and alum navigate that process.

Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) offers a balanced education that combines career-focused learning with a strong foundation in the arts and sciences. We offer a wide range of undergraduate, adult undergraduate, and graduate & professional programs; including education, health sciences, and integrative health. You can explore all academic programs here.

Start by browsing programs by school, reviewing programs, student stories, and outcomes. If you’re unsure, consider our virtual info sessions, a visit to campus or speaking with an admissions counselor to match your interests and career goals.

NDMU offers pre-professional tracks, a 2+4 Pharmacy program, as well as robust graduate and professional programs focused on education, health sciences, integrative health and more.

Students can choose to double major or add a minor to customize their education. Academic advisors will help you build a plan that fits your career goals or graduate school track.

At NDMU, Student Success is at the center of the student experience. Students have dedicated academic advisors, access to tutoring and writing support services, a Career Center and more. Dedicated faculty provide personalized support to help students grow academically, professionally, and personally. Our Trailblazers program connections first-generation college students for a source of continued support in navigating college life.

Visit the program’s dedicated page for detailed information on courses, outcomes, and career paths. You can also request info or schedule a campus visit to speak directly with faculty.

Adult Undergraduate and Graduate & Professional students will be virtually connected with their advisor after they are admitted. The Advisor will work with them remotely to help them register themselves for their first semester of classes at NDMU.

Traditional Undergraduate students attend a Gator Registration Day over the summer before their first term, and are introduced to an advisor at that event who helps them register for their first semester courses. When they arrive, Traditional students will have their NDMU-100 instructor serve as their advisor until they officially declare a major, when they will be assigned an advisor in that department.

In general, AP credit may be given to students who score 3 or higher. IB diplomas will grant the student 30 credits and sophomore status if they score 30 of better. Higher level IB exams with a score of 5 or higher will grant credits accordingly.

The University must receive official copies of all scores to be reviewed for credit. More info on this page of the catalog.

Fully online programs are offered in a variety of our graduate programs.
