Biography
Dr. Spayd began her career as an occupational therapist at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in 2003 where she worked on an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit. She progressed through her career with a focus on older adults in skilled nursing and long-term care. She found her passion as a Director of Rehab mentoring therapists within her department and advanced in the rehab world to an area director overseeing 23 nursing facilities in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Spayd joined NDMU with a passion to help students on their journey to becoming occupational therapists.
