Biography

Dr. James Trovato received his B.S. in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University, completed an ASHP accredited oncology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. Dr. Trovato has demonstrated a history of leadership and management in pharmacy higher education. He is skilled in oncology therapeutics, instructional design, clinical pharmacology, and curricula development and assessment. His practice and research have focused on the management and prevention of complications related to cancer treatment. His practice achievements include developing and implementing collaborative drug therapy management and oral oncolytic medication management services in a medical oncology community practice clinic.
