Biography
Ethan J. Bryant, DNP, MBA, MSN, RN, is a pediatric critical care nurse leader whose work focuses on patient safety, clinical education, workforce development, and interprofessional collaboration. As an Assistant Nurse Manager in a pediatric intensive care unit, he supports frontline nurses, emerging leaders, and interdisciplinary teams in delivering safe, coordinated, family-centered care. His doctoral work examined a TeamSTEPPS-based nurse-resident mentorship program designed to strengthen communication, clarify roles, promote psychological safety, and improve teamwork in a high-acuity clinical environment. He is also committed to simulation-based education and practical strategies that prepare healthcare teams to respond confidently to complex and rapidly changing patient needs.

- Enhancing Nurse-Resident Collaboration Through TeamSTEPPS Mentorship in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Doctoral practice-improvement manuscript and scholarly poster/presentation. The project evaluated an eight-week structured mentorship intervention involving experienced nurses and pediatric residents and measured pre- and post-intervention teamwork perceptions.
