Housing Exemption

All full time undergraduate students are required to reside on campus in the residence halls during their freshmen and sophomore year as specified in their financial aid award letter.

 

A student may submit a housing exemption request to the on campus residence requirement for the reasons below:

  • Student resides within 25 miles of NDMU’s campus with their parent(s) or guardian
  • Student is twenty one years of age or older
  • Student Is married and/or has dependent children
  • Student is a military veteran
  • Student has a documented medical condition or disability that requires special living arrangements that residential life cannot reasonably provide within the residential living environment
  • Student has other extenuating circumstances.

**This housing exemption request is just a request, and a decision will be emailed from Housing and Residence Life.
