BALTIMORE, Md. – A 130-year legacy was honored at Notre Dame of Maryland University with a vibrant Alumni Awards Dinner on Saturday, October 4, 2025 — and it was a night to remember. Held in the MBK Gym, the evening brought together alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to celebrate, connect, and cherish all the beautiful memories.

The party started with a friendly hello from Carroll D. Galvin, Ph.D., ’23, followed by a blessing from Patricia McLaughlin, SSND, ’66. President Marylou Yam, Ph.D., R.N., took the stage to voice the University’s timeless purpose, and Sheri J. Booker ’04 delivered an original poem reflecting on NDMU’s history that set the tone for a beautiful evening. Guests enjoyed dinner, Alumni Awards presentations, and a commemorative video — all before putting on their dancing shoes.
