Biography

Dr. Duston Morris is the Department Chair and Associate Professor in Health and Wellness Coaching. Dr. Morris’s professional background includes over 20 years of teaching, coaching, and training in various health and sport related programs. Dr. Morris’s research interests include how exercise and physical activity are related to other factors of well-being, along with the relationship between athletic identity and health. His work focuses on identifying behavioral primers that promote health and well-being.

Education

  • B.S. in Psychology from the University of Missouri; M.S. in Leisure Behavior and Recreation from the University of Missouri; Ph.D. in Health Behavior and Health Promotion from the University of Arkansas.
