The NDMU School of Nursing has instilled in me six valued ends that have transformed my practice as a future nurse: Presence, Praxis, Scholarship, Leadership, Advocacy, and Self-Care. By remaining in the present moment during client care, using evidence-based practice, and advocating for underserved populations, I can maximize optimal health for each individual and ensure safety in the clinical setting. What's Next for Jordan: University of Maryland Medical Center - Adult Psychiatry
NDMU’s School of Nursing has prepared me with amazing professors and clinical instructors that have taught and demonstrated holistic nursing care. I can’t wait for the moment I will walk into a patient’s room and be able to say, “Hi. My name is Lizzie, and I’ll be your nurse today." What's Next for Elizabeth: Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital - Intensive Care Center
NDMU provided me with dedicated teachers and faculty members that have supported my academic desires and career goals. Their efforts and genuine concern for my success have contributed to all my achievements and most importantly, I have learned through their example. What's Next for Carrie: Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers
NDMU has helped me develop the skills and confidence I need to succeed at anything I do. I look forward to moving closer to achieving my dream of becoming a counselor. What's Next for Megan: Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) at Pennsylvania Counseling Services
My Notre Dame experience has allowed me to see that nursing is so much more than clinical skill. Because of this program I am a more caring, respectful, well-rounded individual. What's Next for Mercedes: Johns Hopkins Hospital - Cardiac Care Unit
In the field of education, you never stop learning and you will learn from your students as well. I am looking forward to my master’s degree and being able to share all of my knowledge with my students to help them succeed. I want my students to remember me as someone who changed their life and as a role model.
