NDMU has helped me gain confidence in myself as an educator. Before entering the MATESOL program, I wasn’t sure if I was outgoing enough to be an educator. The small community at Notre Dame has allowed me to take advantage of professional development opportunities including interning in DC, being a teaching assistant, studying abroad in the Middle East, taking off-campus Arabic classes, and visiting the United Nations.
