Students Stage Timeless Play with a Modern Flair

This fall NDMU features racing hearts, sweaty palms, fluttery stomachs and lots of laughs as the Copeland Theater presents the Broadway hit, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
From Shakespeare to historical fiction to flying through the theater as Peter Pan, NDMU's drama department does not shy away from a challenge. The latest production, The Moors, stays true to that tradition. It's from a new emerging female playwright and it has something for everyone - there's murder, power ballads and even a talking chicken.
NDMU is teaming up with the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory to bring its adaption of William Shakespeare’s "Two Gentlemen of Verona" to life in the Copeland Theatre.
