NDMU and the St. John’s College Graduate Institute announced a new partnership: the Joint Master’s-Level Teaching Certification. NDMU President Marylou Yam joined St. John's President Nora Demleitner to announce the agreement.

Funded by a nearly $250,000 state grant, NDMU's Elevates makes it possible for paraeducators at the John Ruhrah School in Baltimore to become certified special education teachers through an innovative teacher apprenticeship program.

Three NDMU students Jensen Armstrong '26, Anna Choudhary '25, and Eliza Davis '25, along with alumna Amy Rosenkrans '93, D'17, are helping to tell the history of the Woman's Industrial Exchange in Baltimore. The research team is bringing to life the stories of the women entrepreneurs in a project led by the Maryland Women's Heritage Center.
