Additional Requirements for Admissions

  • A course-by-course evaluation of transcripts for all high schools and universities abroad performed by a NACES member provider. For evaluation services, view our transcript evaluation portal:

  • Submit one of the following proficiency scores to the university if English is not your native language:
    • TOEFL iBT score of 80 or greater
    • IELTS score of 6.5 or greater
    • SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 500 or greater
    • Proof of completion of an English composition course at a U.S.-accredited college or university (transfer students only)

Requirements for Visa Processing

Upon acceptance to the university, international students must prove eligibility for maintaining visa status while enrolled. Students who plan to obtain an F-1 Visa must complete a Form I-20 upon confirmation of the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate students in the United States on an F-1 Visa must take a minimum of 12 credits per semester
  • Students must submit current bank or financial statements from you and/or your sponsor’s bank indicating sufficient funds to study at NDMU. Please note: international students are eligible to receive the university’s merit-based scholarships, but students cannot apply for federal financial aid (FAFSA) without a U.S. Social Security Number.
