We’ll pave the way for you to get out there and make a difference. Notre Dame of Maryland University was founded to educate women, but today we welcome all students. Students with high hopes and even higher standards. At NDMU, you will know your professors—and they will know you. You’ll develop a firm foundation in the arts and sciences, while having the kinds of professional experiences that set you up for success (not just for that first job, but for a lifetime of meaningful work).
The Promise Program is a financial aid program that provides University funding to students who have a financial need after completing the FAFSA. The program seeks to bridge the gap between the grants provided by state and federal governments and NDMU’s tuition and fees. We anticipate that 2023-2024 admitted students with a FAFSA family contribution of less than $3,250 will receive a grant package equal to their full tuition & fees. Unlike a loan, the student will not have to pay this money back.
To be considered for the program, students must file their FAFSA as soon as possible.
Notre Dame of Maryland University is proud to offer the Maryland Transfer Grant to help make a quality education more accessible to Maryland residents. New transfer students will automatically receive an additional $5,000 if they live in Maryland and meet these simple requirements.
“The faculty at NDMU inspire me and give me the tools I need to be the best version of myself. I enjoy the unique
classes that allow for hands-on experiences while learning the craft. And at the same time we are afforded the opportunity to serve our community, expand our knowledge, and improve upon our professionalism and confidence.” — Juston Summerville, ’24
