Deputy City Auditor
City of Baltimore
Thandee Maung is passionate about auditing, having spent nearly 20 years in the field. She started her career in 2004 as a compliance auditor at Trailblazer Health LLC. She later joined the City of Dallas Office of the City Auditor as an Auditor II. She was promoted to Interim Assistant City Auditor V, one of two positions reporting to the City Auditor. In 2019, the City of Baltimore recruited her for the position of Deputy City Auditor. In this role, she leads a 40-person team and oversees the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, Single Audit, Performance Audits, Special Audits, and Pre-audits. She serves as Vice-chair of the Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA) Advocacy Committee, a member of the National Award Committee for the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), and a member of the Board of Trustees for Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU). She is formerly an AGA Regional Vice President for the South-Central Region and President of the AGA – Dallas Chapter. She holds an Executive MBA in Global Leadership from the University of Texas at Dallas. She graduated from NDMU with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Information Systems.
REBECCA TEAFF

Rebecca Teaff received her B.A. in Arts/Communications from Mary Baldwin College. In 2009, she founded her graphic design and marketing company, Redstart Creative, with the mission of creating clear communications for those who drive positive change in the world. Rebecca and her team worked creative strategic solutions in print and electronic media for nonprofits and small businesses until the sale of Redstart Creative in 2022. She is now the Director of Marketing at NDMU. Among her recent honors, she is an inductee in The Daily Record’s Circle of Excellence and a recipient of The Daily Record’s Successful Under 40 VIP List, The Daily Record’s Leading Women Award, and Smart CEO Corporate Culture Award. She is currently a member of the Go Red for Women Campaign. Her past volunteer roles include board member of Maryland Nonprofits, chair of the B’more Creatives Mentoring Program, Marketing Chair for Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Maryland, Marketing Chair for the National Association of Women Business Owners-Baltimore Regional Chapter (NAWBO-BRC), Parish Council at Church of the Nativity, and Marketing Chair for her college’s Class Leadership Team.

Jade Stewart is a senior international business major at NDMU. She is a member of the Elizabeth Morrissy Honors Program and the Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society. A member of the women’s volleyball and women’s lacrosse teams, she is heavily involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as the Executive Board’s Social Media Coordinator and a representative for the United East Conference. For the past year, Jade has been interning at Intralox for the Facilities and Human Resources teams.
