Title: Admissions Counselor
Education: BA in Sociology, Furman University
Hometown: Rockville, Maryland
I am originally from Rockville, MD and I moved to Greenville, SC in 2015 to attend Furman University. After I graduated from Furman in 2019, I moved back to Maryland to participate in Teach for America in Baltimore. For the two years prior to coming to Notre Dame, I taught fourth grade and kindergarten with Baltimore City Schools. I love musicals, K-pop, and my orange cat, Gil.
I love the community feel of Notre Dame. The second you step on campus, you feel supported and included. The University really makes an effort to create an inclusive environment with events throughout the year to bring the campus together.
My favorite thing to do in Baltimore is exploring new restaurants. Some of my favorite spots are Verde in Canton and Thames St Oyster House in Fells Point. I also love going for walks along the waterfront and in Patterson Park.
