Renaissance Institute Members Travel to Regional Conference

Six Renaissance Institute members traveled to South Carolina this summer to attend the 2023 Southern Regional Conference for Learning in Retirement at Clemson University. The purpose was to meet with other lifelong learning programs and to exchange ideas about membership building and retention, marketing, community building, and other key components of lifelong learning. Three days of speeches, workshops, and networking provided a wealth of information, and the RI Council will be soon getting detailed reports, analysis, and recommendations from the attendees.
A collegial community of lifelong learners over the age of 50, Renaissance Institute abounds with opportunities to express your creativity, engage in intellectual pursuits and explore new ideas while building enriching camaraderie. Classes for the fall semester, both on campus in the Feeley International Center and virtually via Zoom, will begin on September 12. Learn more about the Institute, view a course catalog, and register for classes at the Renaissance Institute's home page.
