Pharmacy Student Works Towards Third NDMU Degree

Kunjrani Pani ’10, M’18, D’25 has come a long way since she first enrolled at Notre Dame as an undergraduate back in 2006.
Pani, currently a third-year student who holds several leadership roles in the School of Pharmacy, is working towards her third degree at NDMU after previously earning a bachelor’s degree in biology from the School of Arts, Sciences, and Business and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the School of Education.

Women's Basketball Concludes Season in United East Skye Division Final

Thanks to all of our amazing fans who cheered on NDMU’s basketball programs this winter! Another year to remember for the women's basketball team included a second-straight 20-win season and a 13-3 record at MBK Sports Complex. NDMU supporters cheered the team down to the final whistle of the United East Skye Division final, which was held at MBK on February 21.

NDMU Master’s Student Earns The DAISY Nurse Leader Award

A current master’s student in NDMU’s School of Nursing was presented with The DAISY Nurse Leader Award in recognition of her commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Suja Prashant M’24 received the award during a ceremony at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), where she works as a clinical coordinator on an observation floor. Suja is currently enrolled in NDMU’s Leadership in Nursing Administration master’s program.

Former Paraeducator Fulfills Lifelong Dream of Earning Degree, Becoming Full-Time Teacher

In the eight years that Sarah Morris ’24 spent as a paraeducator for Montgomery County Public Schools, she always had an eye on transitioning to a full-time teacher in the future. Morris’s desire to teach dated back to when she herself was a MCPS high school graduate over 20 years ago.
Coworkers and family members encouraged Morris to take the first step towards teaching full-time by enrolling at a local community college. After two years there, she transferred to NDMU’s School of Education, completing her bachelor’s degree and certification in special education last December.

The panelists will address how AI is affecting their disciplines, their teaching and research, and the careers their students will be entering into.
