Join the School of Pharmacy as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its inaugural graduating class! We welcome back all SOP alumni, their families, and friends. We especially welcome the inaugural class of 2013. Spend the evening with friends, faculty, and fellow alumni to mark this milestone reunion. Attendees are also invited to tour and enjoy the newly renovated Knott Science Center and its state-of-the-art upgrades, including the brand-new Knott Lounge!

Join Dr. Evelyn Spratt, Director of the Elizabeth Morrissy Honors Program, to learn about the life of Dr. Elizabeth Morrissy. At this reception, Morrissy Honors alumnae and current students will be able to examine the archival exhibit curated by Dr. Spratt. The exhibit will focus on Dr. Morrissy’s life as a professor at Notre Dame, and as an activist promoting social justice for women and the underserved during the 20th century. Part of the exhibit will also include artifacts from the honors program when it began in 1981 – 1982. The connections between Dr. Morrissy’s life and philosophy and the honors program will be highlighted. A dessert reception will be offered.

Join the English Department to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Damozel, Notre Dame's literary magazine. First published in 1923 as a yearbook, Damozel evolved over a century into the award-winning magazine that exists today. Connect with English faculty, students, and alumnae, and enjoy high tea, archival displays of historic Damozel editions, and readings by former editors and contributors: Pat Montley '65, Joy Moody Lipsey '74, Mia Scharper '91, Kelly McNulty McMillen '96, Micah Castelo '18, and Sierra Ferrare '18.

NDMU’s Operation TEACH Program Provides Unique Post-Graduate Service Opportunity for New Educators


BALTIMORE – Michael McGarrity M’24 majored in finance as an undergraduate, with plans to begin a career in risk management or actuarial science after graduation. Late in his junior year, however, he began to realize that this path towards the corporate world, which he had focused his studies on for several years, was not for him.
