HABSN Graduate Spotlight: James Keaton

BALTIMORE – James Keaton has spent his entire adult life serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy, first as an active-duty member and presently in the Navy Reserve. As he prepares to retire from that role next year, Keaton will soon begin his new career as a psychiatric nurse after graduating from Notre Dame of Maryland University’s Hybrid Accelerated 2nd Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (HABSN) program this month.

The Women's Leadership Institute of Baltimore (WLIB) at NDMU will be hosting its second speed mentoring session for first-year students in fall 2024. Only students who sign up for the Nov. 19 session will be entered to participate.

Gators Connect is women-centered but welcomes all genders. First-year students will be paired with 8 different upper-class mentors for 8 minutes each. During this time, students will have the chance to ask upper-class students questions, learn more about how best to navigate your university experience, and hopefully connect with someone they want to continue talking to after the event!
