Hosted by the Young Alumni Committee and the Student Alumni Leadership Council, you’re invited to this casual networking event! You will be able to learn from our alumni’s experiences and receive helpful advice for all stages of your college career. Light refreshments will be served.

Come and show your creativity and decorate delicious cupcakes with NDMU President Marylou Yam.

The Art Hive is a weekly, unstructured art making space (this year, every Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to Noon) that welcomes everyone as an artist. Throughout the year, the NDMU Art Hive is open to our academic community and the broader community - neighbors, friends, family, students from other schools, etc. are invited! Come join us to make something, get to know people, share a skill or learn a skill from someone else. Creative materials and support (if needed) provided by the Art Therapy Department.

Start the school year with intention and good vibes. Come join the Art Department to make your own Positive Affirmations Banner to hang in your room--or any space important to you. Experiment with shape, size, and color as you craft a banner that will affirm and inspire you throughout the year. Whether you’re an artist, maker, or just someone looking for fun, this event is a great way to meet new people and express yourself.

Join us at this welcome event for new and current first-generation students!

Come meet Counseling Center staff, enjoy snacks and win prizes (goody bags, gift cards, Stanleys and more)! Also, get to know our new space that students can reserve when they need a mindful break or a place to have a private conversation (such as virtual counseling with an off-campus therapist).

Join the Hispanic Latinx Union for its first event of the year! Get to know what the club is all about, meet new friends, and enjoy delicious s’mores. Don’t forget to bring your flags and/or wear your jerseys!

NDMU students are invited to a relaxing evening of painting and decorating tote bags with the International Student Organization executive board. We look forward to seeing students create designs detailing their cultural, national, and ethnic heritages. All are invited!

Get in the Gator spirit and come build your very own Gator plushy! Supplies are limited!

Blow bubbles, destress, and meet the Counseling Center Staff!
