For more than 125 years, Notre Dame of Maryland University has broken barriers to provide high quality higher education to generations of diverse students. On Sept. 12, 2022, the NDMU Board of Trustees voted unanimously that the University become gender inclusivel and enroll men into the traditional undergraduate program starting in fall 2023.

Faculty and Staff Discount Available for Alumnae and Alumni Weekend Events

The Alumnae and Alumni Engagement Office is extending a special discount for faculty and staff to attend keystone events during Alumnae and Alumni Weekend as a way to show gratitude for all that they do. To receive the discount, faculty and staff must use the unique link for paid events by Monday, September 19. Below are the two events that include the faculty and staff discount. There are also four free events on Friday, September 30 open to faculty and staff. Please register for these events if you plan on attending. Please note that there is a required $5 registration fee for each faculty or staff member attending any event during the weekend.

Several Student-Athletes Earn Weekly CSAC Awards

Four NDMU student-athletes were recognized by the Colonial States Athletic Conference for their accomplishments during the first two weeks of the fall season. Paulina Hernandez, a junior for the volleyball program, earned her second career weekly CSAC Defensive Player of the Week award on Sept. 5, and she added CSAC Honor Roll accolades the following week. Teammates Emma Mueller and Gabbi Taganas were also named to the CSAC Honor Roll early in the 2022 season for the volleyball program, while soccer senior Sara Morales added Honor Roll recognition after scoring a hat trick during a 6-2 season-opening victory for the Gators over Gallaudet.

Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle Resumes Service for Fall Semester

The Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle has resumed full service for the fall semester. The shuttle goes to three schools - Johns Hopkins University (Homewood Campus), Notre Dame of Maryland University and Towson University. In addition to the three schools, it stops at Penn Station, Towson Town Center, Towson Place Shopping Center, and the Shops at Kenilworth.
Anyone with an NDMU ID (student, faculty, and staff) is eligible to utilize the shuttle's services for free, and riders may be accompanied by up to two guests.
