Title: Associate VP: First Year Recruitment
Education: BS-UMBC (Visual & Communication Design); BS-Stevenson University (Legal Studies)
Hometown: I’m a transplant from Baltimore who moved to Frederick MD; now back to Baltimore to work!
I’ve been working in higher education for about 40 years within very different areas: Division I – Cross Country & Track Coach, College Admissions, Academic Faculty and International Student PDSO/DSO. I learned so much from the staff and students I worked with and I’m thankful for having each experience. It’s been wonderful to see so many students become successful adults.
With each season, the campus exhibits a unique beauty. The architecture spans many decades and there’s so much history in the halls of the older buildings. The Chapel is a must see! The new buildings have some very interesting student spaces. I love to see that students, faculty and staff have a respect for education and for each other.
A special day in Baltimore would include going to an Oriole game, then having dinner at Mama’s on the Half Shell (Canton) and finishing the day by getting the “Baltimore Bomb” Pie at Dangerously Delicious Pies (Canton).
