By collaborating with the NDMU community and external partners, we strive to provide exceptional support and resources that prepare diverse, ethical, and capable leaders who will make a meaningful impact in the world. At the Office of Student Success, we are here to guide, support, and inspire you every step of the way.

Our Commitment to You: The NDMU C.A.R.E. Principles
Student Success administrators and staff are guided by the principles of C.A.R.E.—Compassion, Accuracy, Responsiveness, and Excellence. Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Compassion: We will treat you with kindness, respect, and understanding, recognizing the unique challenges and goals you bring to your academic journey.
  • Accuracy: We are committed to providing you with clear, precise, and reliable information tailored to your individual needs and circumstances.
  • Responsiveness: We strive to address your concerns promptly and efficiently. While some requests may require additional time, we will communicate transparently about timelines and next steps.
  • Excellence: We are dedicated to delivering high-quality service and support, helping you navigate challenges and achieve your academic and personal goals.

Your Role in the Partnership for Success:
To ensure the best possible experience, we ask for your cooperation in the following ways:

  • Communication: Stay informed by regularly checking your NDMU email and official university communications. This helps you stay on top of important deadlines and opportunities.
  • Accountability: Take charge of your academic success by understanding your major’s curriculum sequence and staying informed about university policies, procedures, and deadlines. It’s your responsibility to plan your path and ensure you meet all requirements. If you have questions or need clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out to the appropriate office, they’re here to support you, but you’re in the driver’s seat. Your education is in your hands!
  • Proactiveness: Address concerns early rather than waiting until the last minute. Planning ahead can prevent many challenges and ensure a smoother path to success.
  • Honesty: Share your complete story with us. The more we understand your situation, the better equipped we are to provide effective support and solutions.

Together, we can create a supportive and collaborative environment that empowers you to thrive at NDMU and beyond.

I-94

The I-94 form confirms your legal entry into the United States. Foreign visitors no longer need to fill out the paper version of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Record. CBP now collects arrival and departure information automatically from travelers’ electronic records. The I-94 indicates your Duration of Status, which ends 60 days after completing your program or ceasing authorized practical training. Your I-94 number serves as your reference number with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Knott Scholarships

Knott Scholarships are made possible through the Knott Scholarship Fund, established by Henry and Marion Knott.  It was the wish of Henry and Marion Knott that academically talented Catholic students use their gifts and talents to become leaders in their school, community, and the Catholic Church.

Knott Scholars have access to a network of alumni and current scholars who attended other Catholic schools and universities in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

There are two types of undergraduate scholarships offered:

For new undergraduate Gators, we only have one word: Welcome!

New Gator Registration Day

You’re now officially part of this community, so let’s start connecting you with people and places and resources! It all happens at New Gator Registration Day.

And just so you know, this event is mandatory for all new undergraduate students. You’ll need to check in with Admissions to make sure your deposit is paid, and then once that’s done, your next step is to register for one of three available dates. (Only one – you don’t need to come to all three.)

June 14

Registration Day is an opportunity to meet with your academic advisor, build and walk your class schedule, and do a number of other important and fun things (like getting your student ID photo snapped and exploring campus on a student-led scavenger hunt…)

See you there!
