Title: Visit Center Coordinator
Education: BA in Journalism, University of Georgia
Hometown: Athens, Georgia
I was born and raised in Georgia and after graduating from UGA in 2020, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to enjoy city life. My partner got an opportunity to move to Baltimore in 2022, and I loved visiting family in Maryland during the summer in my childhood so much that I came along for the ride!
In my free time I like camping, roller skating, weightlifting, tending to my pet frogs, and hanging out with my cats, Squid and Pebble. I also love writing, specialty coffee, and wiener dogs.
I love the culture that has been created on campus. I remember one of my first times on campus, I witnessed a staff member say hi to a bunch of students by name, which is something that was very different for me, coming from a big school where not everyone knows each other. Everyone here truly cares about one another and not only wants to see everyone succeed individually but also have success collectively as a school as well.
My favorite thing to do in Baltimore is go to the National Aquarium. I have been going there since I was a little kid, and I still enjoy going to see all of the wildlife they have there. I also love going to Cross Street Market to try the variety of food offerings they have there, as well as exploring other fun places in Federal Hill.
