Emma Nicholson

Title: Coordinator of Admissions Events
Education: BA in Sociology ’22,  Rider University
Hometown: Parkville, Maryland

I am originally from Parkville, Maryland and then attended Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey where I majored in Sociology with minors in Psychology and Social Work. After graduating in 2022, I moved back to Baltimore and began working here at Notre Dame! I love working in any space that connects people and creates lifelong memories. I coordinate all Admissions events, including Open Houses, Scholarship Dinner, Accepted Student Days, and any daily Tours, Group Visits, or Shadow Opportunities. I love to explore the city, paint, bake, and go to concerts.

What do you love most about NDMU?

From my first day on campus, it was obvious that NDMU’s tight-knit community is something special. Having been away from Baltimore for four years, they helped me feel supported to learn and grow. NDMU’s student spirit is vibrant, so I also love attending performances and athletics games!

Favorite Things to Do in Baltimore

I love to attend Orioles games! Camden Yards is often considered one of the best ball parks in the MLB, and the traditions that happen throughout each game are half of the fun.
