Definition of Full-Time Credit Load

Student Type Full-Time Credits
Undergraduate 12+ Credits
Graduate 9+ Credits
PhD 6+ Credits
Pharmacy 10+ Credits

Excluding courses selected as audit by the student, the University considers Undergraduate students full-time as 12 credits or more within a semester.

Example: If a student is registered for 3 credits in the winter and 9 credits in the spring, then the credit load is full-time. However, if a student is registered for 6 credits in the fall semester and 6 in the spring semester, that is considered a half-time credit load because the credits are not registered in a single semester.
