COVID-19 Vaccination Information (Updated – May 25, 2023)

Notre Dame of Maryland University strongly recommends all NDMU community members be up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations. However, effective the Summer 2023 semester, except as noted below, individuals are no longer required to upload documentation of their COVID-19 vaccinations to the University.

Students enrolled in professional health programs (i.e. BSN, MSN, OTD, PA, and Pharm.D.) will continue to be required to be up-to-date on their COVID-19 Vaccinations. Additional information/instructions will be forthcoming from your applicable School Dean/Program Director and the University Nurse.

Exceptions will be granted only for documented medical and religious reasons. A Request for Exemption should be submitted to the University as soon as possible and at least two weeks prior to the beginning of an academic term. Requests may be submitted to COVID_Vaccine@ndm.edu. Note – The University’s approval of your exemption does not extend to or supersede any requirements that may be implemented by external clinical, practicum, or internship sites. Depending on site policies, unvaccinated students may be unable to complete their academically required experiential education which may impact their timeline for program completion.
