Meeting the President’s 70% goal is critical to save lives and help return our campus and our nation to normal. Throughout the pandemic, NDMU prioritized the health and safety of the community and in recent months encouraged all members of our campus community to seek COVID-19 vaccinations. This included distributing information and hosting a vaccination clinic on-campus in which nearly 4,000 individuals were vaccinated, including many students, faculty, staff, alumnae, and alumni.
As a part of the NDMU Together commitment, NDMU continues in the coming days and weeks to distribute timely information on COVID-19 vaccines and locations to be vaccinated, including seeking to host an additional on-campus vaccination clinic.
Notre Dame encourages everyone to join the University in the effort to help promote COVID-19 vaccinations. The COVID-19 College Vaccination Challenge suggests using “Vaccine Champion” badges on emails and social media and to talk to friends or relatives.
NDMU will continue to post information during the month-long program, including a digital toolkit and 1-pager on the Vaccination Challenge on our vaccine information page. Additional information on the Vaccination Challenge is available on the White House College Challenge page.
