BALTIMORE – Notre Dame of Maryland University’s graduate nursing and education programs were featured among the nation’s best in Money.com’s inaugural Best Graduate School Program rankings released in November.

Notre Dame was the only Maryland university to be included in the Best Nursing Master’s Programs for Your Money rankings. NDMU’s School of Nursing launched new Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner master’s programs in 2022, joining previous master’s offerings in Leadership in Nursing Administration and Leadership in Nursing Education.

NDMU was additionally one of 36 institutions across the United States highlighted on Money’s list of Best Education Master’s Programs for Your Money, and it was one of only 21 to receive a grade of 4.5 stars or higher on a 5-star scale. The School of Education offers a variety of innovative graduate teacher education programs, and it delivers more programs in teacher-shortage fields, including STEM, TESOL, gifted and talented, and special education, than any other Maryland university.

Money.com’s graduate school rankings, created through a partnership with College Factual, feature the top-value schools that provide the best return on investment in graduate education. The programs were graded on annual costs, typical debt burdens, employment rates, and recent graduate salaries, and only the institutions receiving four stars or higher appear on the lists.

Established in 1895, Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) is a private, Catholic institution in Baltimore, Maryland, with the mission to educate leaders to transform the world. Notre Dame has been named one of the best "Regional Universities North" by U.S. News & World Report.
