David Williams, PhD candidate at Royal Holloway University (England), and with Imam Mohammad Arafat on the recent reversion of Hagia Sophia (Istanbul, Turkey). Dn. Williams will speak on the history of Hagia Sophia as a contested/shared sacred space. Imam Arafat will speak on the Islamic tradition regarding Christian and Muslim sacred spaces.
