Dr. Shai L. Butler
Vice President for Advancement & External Affairs Springfield Technical Community College

Dr. Shai’s background informs who she is as a writer, blogger, speaker, professional coach, and mentor. She is part of a subpopulation of individuals who define themselves as survivors and thrivers. Dr. Shai travels the nation inspiring others, as she moves audiences “from pep talks to prep talks” and consults on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Leadership, and Career Advancement in Higher Education. Her article, "Not Your Mother’s Diversity Training," explains her approach to diversity training.
