We are excited for NDMU students, staff, and faculty to come together to celebrate Earth Day. We are collaborating with St. Francis Neighborhood Center this year, the oldest neighborhood center providing enrichment in Baltimore City. Their mission revolves around “ending generational poverty through education, inspiring self-esteem, self-improvement, and strengthening connections to the community.”

Participants will assist with a neighborhood clean-up, urban gardening, a bee colony, a sustainable clothing drive, and more. Transportation will be provided for students from campus to the service site, with a student lunch immediately following at the Empanada Lady.
