Thomas Hagg

Title: Admissions Counselor

Education: BS in Marketing, Management, University of Maryland, College Park

Hometown: Eldersburg, MD

I have loved my time at NDMU. It has been very refreshing coming to a small school after attending such a large school for my bachelor’s degree. Additionally, since I graduated in 2023, I know exactly what students are going through since I was going through the same process just a few years ago. Lastly, I am a huge sports fan, and I am constantly watching football, basketball, baseball, and golf. I also like to spend my weekends on the golf course or watching movies.

What do you love most about NDMU?

I love the culture that has been created on campus. I remember one of my first times on campus, I witnessed a staff member say hi to a bunch of students by name, which is something that was very different for me, coming from a big school where not everyone knows each other. Everyone here truly cares about one another and not only wants to see everyone succeed individually but also have success collectively as a school as well.

Favorite thing to do in Baltimore?

My favorite thing to do in Baltimore is go to the National Aquarium. I have been going there since I was a little kid, and I still enjoy going to see all of the wildlife they have there. I also love going to Cross Street Market to try the variety of food offerings they have there, as well as exploring other fun places in Federal Hill.
