Biograpghy

I serve as an Assistant Profess in the Religious Studies Department at Notre Dame of Marylan University. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Dayton in 2021 and completed my 1. Staatsexamen at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany in 2014. My research interests encompass Catholic social thought, theology of the laity, and American Catholicism. I contributed articles to various journals such as the Journal of Catholic Social Thought or the U.S. Catholic Histories. In addition to my teaching and research, I serve as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) for international students at NDMU, assisting with visa-related matters and supporting the global student community.
