Connect with other first-generation college students for a source of continued support in navigating college life.

Launched in 2010, The Trailblazers Program provides ongoing, essential support to help first-generation undergraduate students reap the benefits of college life, earn their degrees, and make their way into the world as Notre Dame graduates.

The voluntary program has a community of over 200 participants and includes a number of outreach, personal development and academic enrichment opportunities.

The Academic Recovery Program (ARP) at Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) is dedicated to supporting students who have encountered academic challenges and are working to improve their academic standing. Designed for students with a GPA of less than 2.00, the program aims to foster academic success, personal growth, and a renewed commitment to achieving educational goals. Through a combination of tailored academic support, personalized guidance, and skill-building opportunities, the ARP empowers students to overcome obstacles, develop effective learning strategies, and thrive in their academic journey. Services include individualized academic coaching, tutoring, workshops on time management and study skills, and access to resources that promote academic, personal, and professional development. The ARP is committed to helping students regain confidence, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.
