How to Apply to the Morrissy Honors Program

Become a Morrissy Scholar

First, apply to the University. Once accepted, those who meet the honors academic requirements will be invited to participate in the Honors program. Contact your admissions counselor if you have any questions.

Participation Requirements

1. Academic Standing: We have your transcripts on file, which qualifies you to participate in the program. There is no need to submit your transcript again.
2. Event Participation: Incoming students will be required to attend a Morrissy Experience Day on campus, which consists of attending an honors class, meeting with current honors students, lunch, and more!
3. Program Requirements: Students who choose to participate in the Honors Program will be required to attend two Morrissy events per semester, complete six honors classes during their academic career at NDMU, maintain an overall 3.3 GPA, and a 3.0 GPA in their honors courses.

Current NDMU Students

Current NDMU student who wish to become part of Morrissy should inquire with the Director of the Honors Program.

Typically, the honors cohort comprises about ten percent of each incoming class.
