At A Child's Place, we meet your child where they are and give them the tools and support they need to grow at their own pace and in their own way.
Early Learning Programs
Our early learning programs provide your child with opportunities to explore the world around them through small group lessons and center-based play. We foster curiosity in a safe and nurturing environment that makes learning fun and promotes confidence, kindness, and respect.
- Preschool: Hands-on learning and play for two and three-year-olds allows children to be active learners and develop social skills.
- Prekindergarten: We build on a child's curiosity and begin to develop the foundational skills for reading, writing, math, and science.
- Kindergarten: With a focus on encouraging individual interests and independent learning, we strengthen academic skills to prepare for elementary school.
- Summer Camps: Staffed by our experienced preschool teachers, we offer an extended summer of fun-filled theme-oriented camps.

Our school day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Before care (7:30 to 9:00 a.m.) and after care (3:00 to 5:30 p.m.) is provided at no additional cost. See tuition details.

Quality Programs
A Child's Place is engaged in the MSDE Early Childhood Accreditation Project as well as MD EXCELS. All staff participate in the Maryland Child Care Credential Program.
Summer Camp
Each summer, our experienced preschool teachers lead fun-filled theme-oriented camp sessions for kids ages 3 through 6.
