Master of Science in Nursing

Grounded in Caring Science, the Master of Science in Nursing at NDMU prepares nurses with a BSN to advance their career as a nurse leader in academia and healthcare. Our accelerated program offers the consistency you need to complete your degree quickly and effectively while balancing school, work, and family responsibilities. From day one, our cohort model creates a community of learners who progress through the program together from start to finish, providing a network of support.

Graduates of this program will be prepared as nurse educators and nurse managers/administrators to excel in nursing leadership.

The curriculum offers direction for teaching and learning with a commitment to multiple ways of knowing, supporting creativity, discovery, critical inquiry, and application of relevant practice, administrative, and curriculum theories and nursing models in diverse settings. The MSN program’s two concentrations, Leadership in Nursing Administration and Leadership in Nursing Education share common core courses and includes role-specific courses.
