Laurel Campus Building and Grounds
Notre Dame of Maryland University's School of Integrative Health (NDMU SOIH) offers a limited set of services at the Laurel Campus through December 2025.
The Laurel Campus is located at 7750 Montpelier Road, Laurel MD 20723. The School of Integrative Health occupies a portion of the first floor of the building.
The building provides wheelchair-accessible assigned parking for persons with disabilities.
No tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, chew, or electronic cigarettes including vaping products) on the Laurel Campus. This includes not only the building, but the parking lot and grounds, as well.
Building hours vary per day and are communicated to School of Integrative Health students, faculty, and staff on an ongoing basis.
Herbal Dispensary
The Herbal Dispensary provides the tools and space for students to get hands-on experience creating, formulating, and compounding herbal preparations. The dispensary is also a source of high-quality, custom-compounded formulations produced for clients of the NDMU SOIH Natural Care Center and clients of NDMU SOIH alumni.
Natural Care Center
The Natural Care Center provides in-person and telehealth wellness services from students enrolled in some NDMU SOIH programs.
Reporting a Concern or Crime
While the Laurel Campus boasts a low crime rate, if you have a concern or need to report a crime, contact the Office of Public Safety at the following:
- 410-532-5360
- 410-532-6666 Emergency needs

Emergency and Closing Notifications
The University uses several communication tools to alert the community to emergency situations and building and university closings:
- University email – notifies all current faculty, staff, and students via their official university email address
- Emergency announcements will also be placed in Canvas
Whenever you receive an emergency notification, act quickly and decisively. Evacuate or seek shelter, as directed by the notice.
Emergency Management Plan
Emergencies can happen at any time, with little warning. It is important in the event of an emergency to have a set of procedures in place to assure that the lives, property, and interests of Notre Dame of Maryland University are protected. The procedures defined in this manual are to be enacted in the event of an emergency or crisis situation.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures
While on campus or at other properties used by the University, it is important to know how to evacuate in case of an emergency. While on campus, there are several exits located on the first floor, fire doors, emergency lighting, and other precautions in place to allow everyone to safely leave the building or safely harbor in the building until help arrives. See Emergency Evacuation Procedures here.
Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act
Under Campus SaVE, the University is required to report additional Clery Act violations for dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault. It is also required to ensure that upon receiving a report, the student, faculty, or staff member is provided with certain resources and notification of their rights. Please report to the Title IX Coordinator at TitleIX@ndm.edu, if you become aware of an incident on or off campus affecting one of our students, faculty, or staff members.
Campus Security Report
Every year, in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Act, NDMU posts a Campus Security Report, listing any and all crimes on campus and the properties adjacent to campus. This report also includes all properties used by MUIH, including Community Partnership sites, recurring retreat and field trip locations, and rented facilities. See the current report here.
