Participation in events and activities designated as IMPRINT programming can earn students a badge in the aligned pillar and help them progress towards a pillar certificate and designation as an IMPRINT Scholar. Events and activities can be designated as IMPRINT programming if:

  • The event/activity substantively supports students’ achievement of one of the IMPRINT learning goals; and
  • The event/activity sponsor submits an application form and receives approval that from the IMPRINT Team.

A qualifying event or activity generally requires 1-2 student contact hours. Examples include:

  • A presentation, lecture, or workshop on a particular topic.
  • A particular activity during a training or orientation program.
  • A component of a course (guest lecture, project, experience, etc.)

Programs that sponsor multiple events/activities should submit an application for each event that qualifies for IMPRINT designation, linking the even to a specific pillar and learning goal. For example, a program like First Impressions or Legacy Leaders might have multiple qualifying events. In this way, it could be possible for a student to earn multiple IMPRINT badges while participating in different events/activities for that program.

If you have an event or activity that you would like to have designated as IMPRINT programming, complete the application below. Applications will be reviewed each week during the regular academic year. Applications submitted by Friday, should receive a response by the following Friday. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Imprint@ndm.edu.
