NDMU Announces Plans for Summer and Fall 2021 Semesters

As a result of new public health forecasts and medical guidance, as well as the prospect of more widespread vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, we are planning for more normal on-campus activities in Fall 2021. This includes more in-person instruction than has been possible during the current academic year. Please know that our plans are continually evolving based on guidance from federal, state, and local health officials, and constant monitoring of on the ground metrics in Baltimore, Maryland, and across the county. Please see the full announcement for details.

Things You Need to Know

  • The Academic Calendar for the spring semester has been revised. Classes will be in session until 12:00 p.m. on Good Friday (April 2), all day on Easter Monday (April 5), and in full session during what would traditionally be spring break.
  • The residence halls will be open for the spring semester, but will continue in a reduced, single occupant per room, capacity with strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • The University has implemented a pre-arrival testing and quarantine protocol for anyone returning to campus. Please review Testing & Contract Tracing for additional information.

This site will be updated frequently with new announcements, additional policies and procedures as needed and as new information becomes available. We recommend that you check the site often and regularly.
