Title: Assistant Director of Admissions
Education: BA in Modern Languages, Linguistics and Intercultural Communication from UMBC, MA in Higher Education Leadership for Changing Populations, Notre Dame of Maryland University
Hometown: Jarrettsville, Maryland

I graduated in 2018 from UMBC with a concentration in Spanish and spent my last two years of school working in my own university’s admissions office as a tour guide and a student assistant. When I graduated from college, I moved down to Florida to work at Walt Disney World for five months, but when I moved back to Maryland I knew I wanted to get back into working in college admissions!

I am a HUGE fan of everything Disney and I currently live in Bel Air, MD with my husband and our Boston Terrier! In my spare time if I’m not invested in something Disney related, I love watching FRIENDS reruns, and I am still waiting on my Hogwarts letter.

I love finding out what students are passionate about, and I am so excited to be in a position where I can help students make those passions a reality!

What do you love most about NDMU?

I love the location of the university, we are quite literally in the backyard of Baltimore and yet as soon as you step onto campus, you feel quite removed from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I also love the support that the university provides. In a world that’s very competitive, it is very rare to find an institution like NDMU where women might study different disciplines, or work in different offices, but we come together as a whole, and I am just blown away by the small acts of kindness I get to witness every day.

Favorite Things to Do in Baltimore

I love going to Canton Waterfront Park and walking along the water and checking out all the boats and all the dogs running around. I even got engaged there!
