Living on Campus
Living on Campus

Joining in the Notre Dame community as a resident puts you into the mainstream of the College’s activities and events, while giving you the opportunity to get to know some amazing students from all over the U.S--and around the world.

With a full calendar of resident events, lectures, and get-togethers (not to mention those impromptu late-night pizza parties!), living on campus is anything but dull.  Just as important, residence life gives you a chance to develop a new and maturing sense of yourself through everyday interactions with roommates and others on your floor.

What else to know:

  • Resident assistants (RAs)—upper-class students who live in your residence—are great resources for information and advice—or just a friendly ear.
  • Two residence halls provide on-campus housing for full-time students. Doyle Hall primarily houses first-year and sophomore students, while Meletia Hall, the recently renovated turn-of-the century (and air-conditioned!) residence hall houses juniors and seniors. All rooms are fully furnished and wired for cable and internet access.
